The Trilakes gets its name from it’s three lakes in the area: Palmer Lake which is located in the Town of Palmer Lake; Monument Lake which is located in the town of Monument, and Lake Woodmoor which is located in the Woodmoor subdivision just outside the city limits of Monument.

Monument and the Town of Palmer Lake are the most popular destinations. People love this area because of the views of the Front Range and easy access to both Colorado Springs and Denver.

The Town of Monument is a statutory town situated at the base of the Rampart Range in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. The town is part of the Colorado Springs Metropolitan Statistical Area. Monument is bordered by Pike National Forest on the west, Colorado Springs and the United States Air Force Academy to the south, foothills and rock outcroppings to the north, and rolling plains to the east.
