While the market slows, The Platinum Group is accelerating with measurable, double digit growth.

Year to date, the numbers tell a very clear story, and it is one that should matter to anyone thinking about buying or selling in Colorado Springs. While the broader market has shown signs of softening, The Platinum Group, Realtors continues to move in the opposite direction, delivering meaningful growth in both sides and overall sales volume.

Through March, The Platinum Group has closed 253 sides compared to 214 during the same period last year, representing an 18.2 percent increase. Even more impressive is the sales volume, climbing to over 156 million dollars, up 17.8 percent year over year. This is not just incremental improvement, it is a decisive separation from the market trend.

At the same time, the Pikes Peak MLS as a whole is experiencing contraction. Year to date sides are down 2.6 percent and overall volume has declined 5.5 percent. In simple terms, the market is slowing, but The Platinum Group is accelerating.

This kind of divergence does not happen by accident. It is the result of disciplined pricing strategies, high level negotiation, strong agent collaboration, and a consistent focus on delivering results regardless of market conditions. When inventory rises and buyers become more selective, execution matters more than ever. Positioning, exposure, and strategy are no longer optional, they are the difference between sitting and selling.

What this means for sellers is critical. In a shifting market, choosing the right representation directly impacts your outcome. The data shows that not all brokerages perform the same, and aligning with a group that is gaining momentum while the market slows can materially affect your timing, your price, and your overall experience.

For buyers, it means working with professionals who understand how to navigate changing conditions, identify value, and negotiate effectively in a more balanced environment. The same expertise that drives higher sales performance also creates better opportunities on the buy side.

Markets change, but performance driven strategy remains constant. If you are considering a move and want to understand how these trends specifically impact your property or your goals, the Dean Weissman Team is here to guide you every step of the way. With over 36 years of experience, a top one percent track record locally, and a results driven approach backed by data, strategy, and execution, we are positioned to help you win in any market.
